The San Diego Harvey Milk Diversity Breakfast brings together LGBT Community members and allies to celebrate the life and legacy of Harvey Milk. The Harvey Milk Diversity Breakfast celebrates the diversity of our San Diego LGBT Community and is led by an all-volunteer team of community leaders. 


DAY OF EVENT

  • Volunteer Needs: Volunteers will assist with check-in, serve as greeters, and help people find tables.

  • Shift Date: Friday, May 22

  • Shift: 6:15am - 10:00am

  • Location: Town and Country (500 Hotel Circle North, San Diego, 92108)

  • Parking:
    There is a self parking garage at the entrance to the hotel by the lobby.
    There is self parking at the back of the property off Fashion Valley Road.


  • Dress Code: Black slacks/skirt, White Shirt/Blouse and Dark shoes.

Bringing the fun to the run since 1998, Rock 'n' Roll Running Series San Diego is a favorite among locals and tourists alike. Starting at Balboa Park and finishing in Downtown San Diego, you’ll explore up to eight well-known neighborhoods and experience an insider tour that even the locals rave about. This ultimate foot tour highlights all the iconic communities, their personalities, and everything we love about America's Finest City: San Diego, CA.

  • Volunteer Needs: Volunteer will assist with setting and staffing the final marathon water station

  • Shift: 6:15am - 2:00pm

​​​​​​​​About Our Partner: San Diego Gaelic Athletic Association

SDGAA was founded in 2018 as a non-profit organization to promote Irish sports and culture in San Diego County. Irish sports consist of men’s and women’s Gaelic football, hurling, and camogie. These field sports have their origins from Ireland but have been played in the United States, and worldwide, for decades with nationwide clubs under the guidance and support of the USGAA (United States Gaelic Athletic Association) organization and their respective Divisional committees.

SDGAA is the organizing committee responsible for hosting the West Coast Sevens tournament over Memorial Day weekend each year. In 2024, SDGAA celebrated its 10th anniversary with a record number of teams from Canada and across the U.S.

  • Volunteer Needs: Volunteers will assist in setup, breakdown, concession stand, beer garden, field coordinators, and runners.

  • Shift Date: Friday, May 22 and Saturday, May 23

This free, family-friendly event will feature live entertainment, kids activities, and booths

from vendors and local community organizations.  The Santee Pride Festival is located in the parking lot of Santee United Methodist Church on Park Ave.

For those of you taking part in our annual Pride Walk that started this local event 5 years ago: the Pride Walk will take place in the morning before the festival, and is a roughly 2 mile flat paved loop down Mission Gorge, beginning and ending at the Festival.

  • Volunteer Needs: Volunteers will assist in set up, check-in, walk route safety, breakdown and clean up.
