The West Coast Sevens is an annual Gaelic Sports tournament held in San Diego over Memorial Day Weekend May 27- 27, 2023. GAA clubs from around the world play traditional Irish field sports such as men’s and ladies' Gaelic football, Hurling and Camogie, and youth.
Volunteer Needs: Volunteers will assist with concessions, volunteer check-in, field support, and parking
Multiple Shift Times: 6:00 am -6:00 pm
Location: Southwestern College (900 Otay Lakes Rd, Chula Vista)

Description
Formed in 1974 as a sponsored program of The Center for Social Services, we produced the first Lesbian and Gay Parade in San Diego to celebrate the 1969 Stonewall Rebellion on New York’s Christopher Street. San Diego Pride was incorporated as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization in 1994, and today it continues to bring together the skills, talents, and visions of our diverse community through numerous programs.
Volunteer Needs: Volunteers will assist in two different areas

SUPERVISORS NEEDED: If you are ready to up your game, and take on more responsibilities for this event, please reply to this email. Supervisors work for 6 hours during festival hours and supervisor 16 volunteers. You will be responsible for ensuring that volunteers are assigned to their areas, providing them with assistance as needed, and ensuring that they get breaks and are hydrated.
Multiple Shift Times: 7:00 am -11:00 pm
Location: Balboa Park - Marston Park
Volunteer Benefits: Free access to the Festival for two days, free t-shirt, free meal per shift, and access to Volunteer Village.

ASANA was created in 2007 as a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting the participation of LGBTQ cis women, trans men, trans women, and nonbinary people in organized amateur athletics. The association has member leagues in 28 cities throughout the United States, and many of them participate in the ASANA Softball World Series, which is hosted each year in a different member city. San Diego is set to play host to this important event in September 2023.

Rock 'n' Roll Running Series San Diego is a favorite among locals and tourists alike. Starting at Balboa Park and finishing in Downtown San Diego, you’ll explore up to eight well-known neighborhoods and experience an insider tour that even the locals rave about. This ultimate foot tour highlights all the iconic communities, their personalities, and everything we love about America's Finest City: San Diego, CA.
Volunteer Needs: Volunteers will assist with setting up the runner's water station and distributing water during the marathon

Description
United States Police & Fire Championships, an Olympic-style competition for the first responder community. Over 2500 first responders will be coming to San Diego between June 10-19, 2022 to compete in over 40 different sporting events.
Volunteer Needs: Volunteers will assist with the Swim Competition by registering athletes, lap counters, timers, and medal distribution.
Multiple Shift Times: 7:00 am -1:00 pm

The event takes place at a fairground, providing a perfect backdrop for a day filled with music, food, games, and entertainment for all ages. The main stage features a lineup of talented musicians, dancers, and, performers from a wide range of genres, giving attendees the opportunity to enjoy a diverse mix of music and entertainment.

Nestled under the umbrella of the North County LGBTQ Resource Center, Pride by the Beach is a program that will shelter you from any storm. Their mission is to serve, empower and advocate for San Diego North County's diverse LGBTQI+ community and they have worked tirelessly for more than 10 years to accomplish this goal. The lifesaving services and programs created have helped thousands of LGBTQI+ people.
