About Our Partner
Formed in 1974 as a sponsored program of The Center for Social Services, San Diego Pride produced the first Lesbian and Gay Parade in San Diego to celebrate the 1969 Stonewall Rebellion on New York’s Christopher Street. San Diego Pride incorporated as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization in 1994, and today it continues to bring together the skills, talents, and visions of our diverse community through numerous programs.
VOLUNTEER NEEDS
- Volunteer Tasks: Volunteers will assist in a staffing the Information Booth and Festival Guest Relations
- Shift Date: Saturday, July 20 and Sunday, July 21, 2024
- Shifts will vary
- Location: Balboa Park
- Volunteer Benefits: FREE admission to Festival, FREE t-shirt, FREE meal with every shift.

About SheFest
She Fest delivers empowering and accessible programming and content that centers 2SLGBTQ+ women, non-binary people, and people who find community with these identities; creates opportunities to connect 2SLGBTQ+ small businesses to new audiences; facilitates social events that bring people together; and invests in and celebrate the volunteer leadership of She Fest committee members. Our year-round efforts culminate in an annual flagship event that brings over 10,000 of our community members together to kick off San Diego’s Pride week in July.
